Hard to credit that our new 0.09650 per kWh rate on September Switch2 bills is up by 87%. No mention of this in Origin's notification of increase letter received early August. No clear answer from Origin either when asked to explain such a staggeringly high rate hike.
Our per kWh rate has barely changed since Dulverton's communal heating system was fully activated in 2010. In fact, it was marginally reduced last year. Origin's present gas supplier is Swalec. Guess what? The per kWh rate Swalec charge Origin has NOT been increased, as the bills Origin supplied on request prove. Hardly surprising, given that Origin's current contract with Swalec doesn't expire until summer 2017.
So what's an exploited consumer unable to switch supplier to do? Our response was to notify Origin that until they supply detailed authenticated accounts that clearly set out our fair share of the total heating cost and the reasons for the sudden increase, we will continue to pay our bills at 0.05160 per kWh, the tariff rate that applied prior to September 1st 2016. Guess what again? No response.
Anyone else exercised about this? Maybe you've taken alternative evasive action or are thinking about it? We'd love to know

Not sure what we can do about it. It seems really unfair and bit dodgy - as you say its not as if we can switch

Wearing a sexy swimsuit can be a form of body positivity and self-acceptance. It encourages you to celebrate your body, regardless of societal expectations or standards. By embracing and showing off your body confidently, you can inspire others to feel more comfortable in their own skin. womens resortwear
